To Infinity…

This infographic was created to help promote my book Amazing Fantasies: A Guide to the Modern Marvel Movies.

A combination of text, images, and colour help the viewer learn about the different Infinity Stones including the powers they grant, what films they appeared in, and their current location.

Eureka Enigma

A logo created for my publishing company.

The name of company was chosen as a representation of how the moment of revelation can be elusive, and the perennial problem of why it is so difficult to work out the solution to a problem. This in turn is reflected in the logo, with the insignia being both a light bulb and a question mark.

Playground

A proposed logo designed for marketing and design company Playground.

The design and use of bright colours reflects the company’s fun and youthful identity. The letters were created using 2D shapes, the rounded features and straight edges being reminiscent of playground equipment. Additionally, the letter ‘p’ was designed to be distinct enough to be used on its own should the need arise for it, such as in social media profile pictures.

CH Cruises & Travel

A proposed logo designed for a travel agency. The impetus behind this logo design was to create something contemporary and fresh, befitting the agency’s ethos. The use of a heart-shaped life preserver is both simple and memorable, harking back to the agency’s original specialisations of cruises and honeymoons.

Amazing Fantasies: A Guide to the Modern Marvel Movies

A book that I wrote, designed, and self-published. The predominantly red cover links it to the subject matter (red being a colour used in the Marvel logo) with a Ben-Day dot rendered cityscape being emblematic of both the comic books and live-action films discussed in the book. A clean aesthetic was achieved with the interior text through the use of sans-serif fonts and ample white space.

2015 Academy Awards Best Picture Nominees

An infographic created to illustrate the eight films nominated for the Best Picture Oscar in 2015. Simple yet distinct icons were used to represent each nominee, with information on each movie’s genre and the number of other Oscar nominations also being included.

The image was featured on the Empire Magazine Australasia Facebook page as part of their coverage of the 87th Academy Awards.

Anawin Op Shop

The brief was to create a logo that conveyed the nostalgia of the objects in the shop, yet have a wide appeal. Additionally it should suggest the store as a destination to find things you didn’t know you wanted. Two versions were created: a main logo that would adorn the shop front window, and a second one to be used as a price tag, which can also be applied to other paraphernalia.

Surf & Sand

This digital illustration was created as a potential cover for an edition of the University of Western Sydney student newspaper Cruwsible.

The brief specified a summer theme, and so I chose to depict a person relaxing on a beach, a popular destination amongst university students. Adequate space was factored into the artwork for the publication’s logo and any text that may need to be present.
